Word Ladders

A Word Ladder, also known as Word Golf, Doublets, and Word-Links is a word game invented by Lewis Carroll. It starts with two words and to solve it you should find a chain of common words; change just one letter on each line to go from the top word to the bottom word. You should not change the order of the letters.

Example:

  • SNAP
  • ----
  • ----
  • ----
  • SHOT
Answer:

  • SNAP
  • SLAP
  • SLOP
  • SLOT
  • SHOT
It is clear that there can be more than one answer for each puzzle.
